Draft notice: this page was written to be plain and honest about what Booster actually does, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you're relying on it for legal protection rather than just informing users, have it checked before launch — especially given email collection under GDPR (UK/EU) and LGPD (Brazil).

What we collect

Data	Why
Email address	Two uses only: activating your account/license key, and — for active Plus subscribers only — an occasional notice when a new version ships (we re-check that your subscription is still active before sending, so this stops the moment you cancel). No marketing, no newsletter, no third-party sharing or selling of your email.
License key + plan status	To know whether you're on Free or Plus.
Boost counts (how many, not what)	To enforce the free-tier limit and stop one license key from being shared across many people.
Payment details	Handled entirely by Stripe for Plus subscriptions — we never see or store your card details ourselves.

What we do not collect

The text you type. When you send a message, it's transmitted to our server to compress it and the result is returned — it is not logged, stored, or reviewed by anyone, by us or otherwise.
No images, uploaded files, voice recordings, or content from any other site or app. Booster only acts on typed text in ChatGPT's own web composer at chatgpt.com.
No browsing history, no tracking across other websites, no advertising profile.

Who else sees data

Cloudflare — hosts our server (Workers) and necessarily processes requests at the network level (e.g. IP address, for routine operational/security purposes) as part of running any web service. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Stripe — processes Plus subscription payments under its own privacy policy; we receive your email and subscription status, not your card details.
Resend — delivers the one activation email; sees your email address for that purpose only.

How long we keep it

Your license record (email, plan status, lifetime boost count) is kept while your account is active. Daily usage counters are deleted automatically after 48 hours. Email us to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Service availability — please read before subscribing

Booster depends on chatgpt.com's current page structure. We don't control ChatGPT's website. If OpenAI changes its page layout, Booster's on-page features can stop working with no advance notice — this has nothing to do with your account or payment status. We may ship an updated version to adapt when that happens, but we can't guarantee a fix will be available, or when. Because Booster isn't distributed through the Chrome Web Store, updates aren't installed automatically — check the Booster popup or the download page for new versions.

If Booster stops working for you and a fix isn't available, you can cancel your Plus subscription at any time — no long-term commitment, no cancellation fee.
